A Place Where You Are Always Welcome
Matryoshka-Success Cultural and Educational Centre
Dear readers,
My journey in education is closely connected with a family tradition. In 2008, I began working at the Matryoshka daycare and later at the Uspekh Russian School. For me, this was not simply the beginning of a career, but the start of a lifelong calling.
It is especially meaningful to me that I am the daughter-in-law of Anna Nikolaevna Frolova, the founder of the Matryoshka daycare, the Uspekh School, and the Matryoshka-Uspekh summer camp. For our family, education has always been more than a profession — it is a mission, a desire to give children an atmosphere of warmth, safety, and inspiration.
As I continue along this path, I feel a great sense of responsibility, as well as pride that I have the opportunity to develop the work that was begun with such love and dedication.
The Uspekh children’s summer camp began welcoming children about 20 years ago and continues to operate today. For many children, the camp has become a place they return to every summer — for new experiences, friendship, and the joy of discovery. For me, one of the greatest achievements is seeing children grow and change while keeping warm memories of our camp.
To continue growing professionally, I graduated from Algonquin College in the Early Childhood Education program and today I am a licensed early childhood educator. This education allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of child psychology, learn modern educational methods, and combine them with the values that have always been important to our family.
For more than 15 years, my life has been connected with the care and education of children. Every day, I become more convinced that the most important part of our work is creating a space where every child feels valued, loved, and confident in their abilities.
With warmth and gratitude,
Oksana Frolova
