We Invite You to Collaborate with “Nasha Ottawa”!
In recent years, Ottawa and Gatineau have been changing rapidly. Every month, more and more Russian-speaking residents are arriving in our city — talented, active and creative people who want to share their ideas, knowledge and inspiration. And the most exciting part is that our city now has platforms and media resources where all of this can become a reality.
More than ten years ago, the newspaper Meridian began publishing in Ottawa, becoming the first professional information resource in Canada for Russian-speaking communities from across the countries of the former Soviet Union. Three years ago, a new and more modern publication — Nasha Ottawa — was launched. This year, the two projects joined forces, and the result of this collaboration is the stylish glossy lifestyle magazine you are holding in your hands today.
Nasha Ottawa is much more than a magazine. For more than a year, we have also been operating the online radio station Voice of the Capital, featuring favourite songs, Soviet-era and contemporary music, podcasts, children’s stories, interviews and news. Every month, tens of thousands of people around the world listen to our programs. However, we want our broadcasts to become even more connected to our city — filled with the voices of local musicians, composers, poets, writers and hosts.
We are also actively developing the Nasha Ottawa YouTube channel, where we introduce viewers to interesting people in our city and cover local businesses, events and cultural life. On our website, NashaOttawa.ca, you can find news, an events calendar, video reports and our live radio broadcast.
We invite everyone who would like to become part of this large and positive project to collaborate with us — journalists, bloggers, hosts, camera operators, musicians, event organizers and entrepreneurs. Send us your ideas, announcements, stories and proposals. Share news about your business, and we will be happy to introduce you to our audience across our platforms.
Nasha Ottawa is a friendly team where everyone can contribute to the cultural and informational life of our city and our community.
Together, let us tell the world about our city and the people who make life in Ottawa and Gatineau truly vibrant and inspiring!
