WE INVITE YOU TO COLLABORATE WITH NASHA OTTAWA!

In recent years, Ottawa and Gatineau have been changing rapidly. Every month, more and more Russian-speaking residents are making our city their home — talented, active and creative people eager to share their ideas, knowledge and inspiration. And the best part is that our city now has media platforms and information resources where all of this can become a reality.

More than ten years ago, the Meridian newspaper began publishing in Ottawa, becoming the first professional media resource in Canada for people from across the countries of the former Soviet Union. Three years ago, a new and more modern publication appeared — Nasha Ottawa. This year, the two projects joined forces, and the result of this collaboration is the stylish glossy lifestyle magazine you are holding in your hands today.

Nasha Ottawa is much more than a magazine. For more than a year, we have also been operating the online radio station Voice of the Capital, featuring favourite songs, Soviet-era and contemporary music, podcasts, children’s stories, interviews and news. Every month, our programs are heard by tens of thousands of listeners around the world. But we want our broadcasts to become even more connected to our city — to feature the voices of our local musicians, composers, poets, writers and hosts.

We are also actively developing the Nasha Ottawa YouTube channel, where we introduce viewers to fascinating people in our city and highlight local businesses, events and cultural life. And on our website, NashaOttawa.ca, you will find news, an events calendar, video reports and our live radio broadcast.

We invite everyone who would like to become part of this large and positive community project to collaborate with us — journalists, bloggers, hosts, camera operators, musicians, event organizers and entrepreneurs. Send us your ideas, announcements, stories and proposals. Share news about your business, and we will be delighted to tell our audience about you across our platforms.

Nasha Ottawa is a close-knit team where everyone has an opportunity to contribute to the cultural and information life of our city and our community.

Let’s work together to tell the world about our city and the people who make life in Ottawa and Gatineau truly vibrant and inspiring!
