Profession — Early Childhood Educator
Working with children and seeing their happy eyes every day is a true blessing.
Many would say this job is difficult, that it requires endless patience and dedication — and that’s absolutely true. But most of all, it requires love — love for children and love for your calling.
When you arrive at work and joyful children run to hug you and tell you about their evening, your heart skips a beat. That’s when you realize you made the right choice — the choice of your profession — the choice to be an educator.
Hello,
My name is Natalia, and I am a preschool teacher at Matryoshka Early Learning Center, RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator). This is my story.
Being an educator and working with children has always been my dream. So when the opportunity came, I embraced it without hesitation.
My journey with Anna Frolova, the director of “Matryoshka,” began back in 2010.
Through my work with children, I realized that I had gained valuable practical experience but lacked sufficient theoretical knowledge. That’s why in 2018, I enrolled in the Algonquin College Early Childhood Education program and graduated with honors.
It wasn’t easy — balancing a full-time job and studies — but I succeeded.
Today, I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) and have been working for ten years at “Matryoshka” with children aged 3 to 4 years (preschoolers).
I truly enjoy creating a nurturing and educational environment where children can grow emotionally, socially, cognitively, and physically.
Every child is unique, and it’s important to find the right approach and strategy for each one. When planning activities, an educator takes into account the children’s interests, strengths, and needs so that every day in preschool is full, engaging, and helps each child develop in all areas.
When working with children, every educator not only gives love and care but also shares a piece of their heart.
Seeing children’s joyful eyes each day is the greatest reward.
Children are our future, and I am proud to make my small contribution to their growth and happiness.
Finding one’s true calling is essential for everyone — and I’m grateful I found mine.
I can proudly say: I am an educator — and that’s priceless.
